Environmental Process
The Yucca Loma Bridge/ Yates Road/ Green Tree Boulevard project is a multi-jurisdictional cooperative effort including segments in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, and the City of Victorville. The project currently being proposed extends from Apple Valley Road in the Town of Apple Valley, westerly to Hesperia Road in Victorville, and will connect Yucca Loma Road, Yates Road, and Green Tree Boulevard. It will create a new east/west corridor for local residents, and will ultimately access the proposed La Mesa/Nisqually Interchange in Victorville. The Environmental Process and Preliminary Engineering for this endeavor is well underway, and is scheduled for completion in the early Spring of 2010. Final Engineering will begin this year, and actual construction could conceivably commence as early as summer, 2010.
